Introducation   

Measuring the flexural strength (or bending strength or modulus of rupture) of inorganic non-metallic materials such as refractory materials, ceramics and concrete under high temperature test environment has been widely used as a method to evaluate the properties of simulated materials at working temperature.    

At the same time, together with load softening temperature, creep rate, permanent line change, thermal shock resistance and other properties, it has become an important parameter in the field of refractory/ceramic material development and quality control.
In the standard, the bending strength is defined as the maximum pressure that particular size rectangular test material can withstand, when it is bent at three-point bending device.It is measured in N/mm²or M/Pa.    

The testing machine can be used to test and study the flexural strength (or bending strength or modulus of rupture) of refractories, fine ceramics, casting materials, ceramics, composite materials, concrete and other materials under three-point stress condition in high temperature environment. The computer is adopted for automatic control, and the human-computer interaction measurement and control software based on Lab Windows CVI is independently developed, which has high temperature control and loading accuracy, dynamic real-time display of temperature-time, pressure-time curve, the original data can be converted into EXCEL storage format, and the test report can be checked and printed at any time. It can test rate control ,such as constant stress, constant displacement ,etc. It can test the bending strength of the material under nitrogen, chlorine and air conditions.
